摘要:
美国中小学教师资格定期注册制度以教师的“多元专业发展”作为目标。伊利诺伊州教师执照更新制度以五年为一周期,要求申请者在指定的教师教育机构完成一定学时的专业发展活动,并将活动过程性资料输入教育者执照信息系统,接受教育主管部门的评估。整个过程已经形成较为完善的运作机制,其对我国教师资格定期注册制度在继续教育方面的规定改进有一定的借鉴意义。
Abstract:
American teaching certificate renewal system is supposed to promote the professional development of primary and secondary school teachers in multiple ways. It requests licensees to participate in PD activities from State-approved providers and complete required clock hours in a 5-year renewal cycle, after which licensees must login to their ELIS accounts, follow the prompts for registration, and pay the fees using a credit card. The whole system procedure has become fairly comprehensive and effective and provided reference for the improvement of regulations on the in-service teacher training in Chinese teaching certificate renewal.
