摘要:
着重分析探究大学英语普遍存在“低效教学”的三大根源:目标模式的功利性、课程定位的模糊性、课程设计的独断性,并针对现存问题提出将课程目标指向学生的能力与素质、课程定位指向学术英语(EAP)和专门用途英语(ESP)、课程设计指向培养学生自主学习能力等对策建议,从根源上解决“低效教学”的痼疾。
Abstract:
This paper focuses on three root causes of the inefficient teaching of college English: utilitarianism of means-end teaching model, ambiguity of course orientation, and arbitrariness of curriculum design, and based on which, countermeasures are developed to fundamentally solve this chronic problem, i.e., students’ ability and quality-oriented teaching model, EAP & ESP course orientation, and the curriculum design directed at the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability.
