设计并开展针对集美大学诚毅学院全院学生的大学英语后续课程调查问卷。采用SPSS统计软件分析数据发现:学生存在英语水平两级分化严重,英语学习时间不够,自主学习能力不强等问题。研究还发现:通过四级考试学生对大学英语后续课程的接受程度显著高于未通过考试学生;年级不同对大学英语后续课程接受程度也有显著差异。多元线性回归分析显示:对大学英语后续课程产生显著影响的学生个体因素有五项,分别是英语学习动机、学习内容、自主学习能力、学习模式和学习期待。基于研究发现,提出具体建议,旨在对大学英语后续课程建设和实施有所启示。
Abstract:
A questionnaire is designed and carried out in Chengyi College Jimei University to research on the Follow-up College English Courses. An analysis on its collected data by the use of SPSS software finds some student-related problems: polarized English levels, insufficient English learning hours and weak autonomous learning ability. It also finds that the popularity of the Follow-up Courses is significantly different among different grades and among students who have passed or failed the CET-4. Moreover, it shows that the influence of five student-subject factors on the Follow-up Courses is significant. Based on the above discoveries, this paper proposes some suggestions aiming at some inspirations to the construction and execution of the Follow-up College English Courses.
