摘要:: 近代体育萌生于国家遭受外侵欺辱、内部秩序混乱之际，又正值体育事业万象伊始之期，这给诸多学者提供了充裕的言论空间。研究运用文献资料和比较分析法对我国近代民国时期体育学者的重要体育观点进行阐释分析和经验提升，以此警示和反思现时期体育发展的歧途和迷思。民国体育学者对体育的强准定位和多功能理解是近代体育得以发展的前提。体育被赋予强国保种的重要功用，其中身心一元的体育发展观、体育需照顾国民经济，体育开展“国性不可或忘，国情不可不知”、体育生活化、健美女子体育观、学校体育选手制之弊端等诸多经典言论，对当今体育价值重拾、学校体育公平化和以人为本的体育发展观有重要的启迪。

Abstract:: Modern sportsstarted when the country was suffering from foreign invasion and bully and domestic chaos，which aroused great concern from sports scholars then.By using research methods such as literature and comparative analysis，the paper expounds on the viewpoints of sports scholars in the Republic of China，aiming to shed some light on the today＇s sports development.Their keen insight into and the accurate orientation for sports were the prerequisite for the development of modern sports.Sports were endowed with an important role in empowering the country and making stronger countrymen.Body building should go together with mental development，sports should serve the national economy，sports should consider national ethos and national reality，sports should be related to life，and sports should include women.All this viewpoints provide important inspirations for todays sports values，sports fairness in schools，and people-first sports concept.
