摘要:: 美国的文理学院历史悠久，特色鲜明，教学质量优异，社会声誉良好，是美国高质量本科教育的重要组成部分。选课制是文理学院教学管理制度的核心,一直与学分制、导师制配套运行，在人才培养机制中发挥着重要作用。文理学院实行选课制已有一百多年的历史，虽然与综合性大学有相似之处，但在具体的实施过程中仍有自己独特的特点，其教务管理的科学性、课程结构的系统性、课程资源的丰富性、选课指导的全面性、网络平台的先进性、修学制度的灵活性均对我国高校专业建设和课程改革有借鉴意义。

Abstract:: Most of liberal arts colleges in the United States have a century-long history. They are reputed for their unique features, outstanding undergraduate education, and close connections to local communities. They are also greatly favored by social media and played an implacable role in the education system of the United States. Registration system, as well as credit system and mentoring system are the cores of academic management institution. The registration system in liberal arts college have been put into practice for more than a century. Even though such registration system shares some similarities to that of comprehensive universities, liberal arts colleges still keep their exclusiveness in this registration system.Such systematicness of structure, richness of resources, comprehensiveness of advising, advancement of Internet, and flexibility of selection provide a perfect example that should be carefully studied and applied to our college education innovation.
