摘要:
我国未来的教育目标就是培养创新型人才，而培养创新人才的关键是提高学生的批判性思维。针对外语专业学生的批判性思维水平的现状，探讨结合外语专业特殊性培养学生批判性思维的方法，并以“基础英语”课程为例，展示如何将批判性思维的核心过程融入外语专业基础课程教学之中，为融合型教学方式提供一种思路。这种教学方式不仅可以提高学生的语言技能、跨文化意识和文学赏析能力，同时也训练了批判性思维的核心技能，培养了学生作为批判性思维者的人格倾向。
Abstract:
The educational objective in China is to cultivate students into the very personnel with innovation spirit and innovation capability. The key to this objective is to enhance students’ critical thinking. In view of the current level of critical thinking of foreign language majors in China, the paper explores how to well integrate the core process of critical thinking into the basic courses for foreign language majors, by taking as example the text teaching of Essential English Course for English majors, attempting to offer an effective way to the integrated teaching. This teaching method improves students’ language skills, cross-culture awareness and literature appreciation, and meanwhile cultivates their critical thinking skills and dispositions.
