摘要:
“高等学校商务英语专业本科教学质量国家标准”对指导全国高校的商务英语本科专业制定培养方案具有重要意义和参考价值。为了符合“商英国标”对人才培养目标的要求,集美大学外国语学院在Dudley-Evans和St. John需求分析模型的指导下,设计了针对高年级学生的调查问卷。需求分析模型以学生的需求为中心,分析了学习者现有的语言能力和知识水平与社会和他们自身所期望达到的程度之间的差距,是修订培养方案的理想指导。调查结果发现,该专业在各课程模块比例分配、实践环节、教师水平、授课方式和专业特色等方面存在不足,有必要根据该专业的具体情况对本科培养方案进行修订和完善。
Abstract:
National Standards of Business English BA Program is of great significance and reference value for the reformulation of Business English undergraduate program. In order to be in conformity with the stipulations of National Standards of Business English BA Program, a questionnaire survey based on Dudley-Evans and St. John’s needs analysis model is conducted by School of Foreign Languages, Jimei University, aiming at the real needs of Business English senior students. With the need of learners at the core, needs analysis model analyzes the gap between their language proficiency and knowledge level and the desired ability wanted by the society and the learner themselves, which serves as perfect guidance for the reformulation of undergraduate program. The results of the survey show that some deficiencies exist in the proportion of course modules, practice training, teachers’ ability, teaching methods and distinctive features of the major.
