摘要:: 作为碑志文献的一个重要组成部分，古代牌坊在封建时代的社会生活中扮演了重要角色。许多年来，虽然人们对它的评价褒贬不一，但牌坊背后很多感人的人物和事迹，就其旌表功能而言产生过重要的社会影响。厦门地区的牌坊种类齐全，涉及面宽，是记录该地区发展的实物资料，同时，各类牌坊的坊主有不少是属于为国家做出过突出贡献的名臣干将，他们的事迹和爱国情怀直到今天仍具有重要的教育意义和参考价值。

Abstract:: As an important part of the old stele, the old memorial arch acted an important function in the development of feudalism times. For many years, people’s attitude to the old memorial arch is different, but it exerts a great influence on the development of feudalism. The old memorial arch of Xiamen area is an important document file. In the old memorial arch, many deeds and patriotic to their country about famous ministers of feudalism times have an important educational significance and consulting value.
