不同于综合类或外语类院校,国内的涉海院校有着鲜明的专业特色,其翻译硕士课程设置应该与前者有所区别。进行课程设计时,除了遵循《翻译硕士专业学位研究生教育指导性培养方案》和《翻译硕士专业学位设置方案》,涉海院校还需把各自的培养目标、专业方向和专业学位的内涵作为重要依据。涉海院校的MTI(翻译硕士专业)课程设置需要遵循翻译实践与理论素养并举、翻译基础与涉海特色兼顾、语言功底与翻译能力均衡、循序渐进与先泛后专同步的原则。涉海院校MTI课程设置不可避免地超越了课程本身,而应在全国翻译专业学位研究生教育指导委员会的各项规定、培养单位的招生策略、学生就业的考虑、师资力量和教材建设等多方诉求的冲突中寻求恰当的平衡。
Abstract:
Different from multi-disciplinary universities or foreign language institutes, marine-related universities boast of unique discipline ascendancy, the MTI curriculum designing of which should stand alone. When designing the curricula, apart from following the Guiding MTI Training Program and MTI Setting Scheme, marine-related universities should take into consideration the training target, the professional direction and the connotation of professional degree. The concrete MTI curricula designing should focus on the balance of translation practice and translation theory, the foundation of translation training and the marine characteristics of translation, language skills and translation competence, advancing gradually and lecturing the specialized courses after the general courses. The MTI curricula designing of marine-related universities goes beyond the curriculum and should put into consideration the provisions of China National Committee for MTI Education, the recruitment strategies, the student employment, teachers and textbooks involved.
