从心理学角度探讨推理能力对小学高年级学生数学能力的影响以及社会支持在其中的作用,采用数学能力(计算和数学推理)、推理能力(归纳推理、类比推理和演绎推理)、社会支持(父母支持、师生关系和友谊质量)测量任务,同时控制空间能力(心理旋转)和语言能力(词语辨析)等因素,对276名四年级和六年级小学生进行调查研究。结果显示:推理能力、社会支持与数学能力之间存在显著相关关系,且社会支持在推理能力与数学能力的关联中起到调节作用。因此,推理能力与社会支持在数学学习进程中具有普遍性作用,当学生所获得的社会支持处于较高水平时,推理能力对数学能力的预测效能相对更高。
Abstract:
This study investigated the influence of reasoning ability on mathematical competence among upper-primary students (Grades 4 and 6,N = 276) and examined whether social support moderates this relationship.This study employed measurement tasks for mathematical competence (calculation and mathematical reasoning),reasoning ability (inductive reasoning,analogical reasoning,and deductive reasoning),and social support (parental support,teacher-student relationships,and friendship quality),while controlling factors such as spatial ability (mental rotation) and verbal ability (word discrimination).A total of 276 fourth-grade and sixth-grade students were surveyed.The results indicated significant positive correlations among reasoning ability,social support,and mathematical competence,with social support playing a moderating role between reasoning ability and mathematical competence.This suggests that reasoning ability and social support have a universal role in mathematical learning,and when students receive higher levels of social support,the predictive effect of reasoning ability on mathematical competence becomes relatively stronger.
