技术进步与工资问题是马克思主义政治经济学的重要关切，在技术进步中缩小工资差距也是实现共同富裕的内在要求。教育发展在推动技术进步的同时也对不同技能水平劳动者的收入产生影响，从理论上将教育水平与技能偏向性技术进步相结合，分析了技能偏向性技术进步下教育水平对技能工资差距的影响以及经济增长在其中的作用。进一步利用2010—2022年CFPS数据，实证考察了教育水平对技能工资差距的影响。研究发现，教育水平的提高对高技能劳动力工资收入增长作用更大，显著扩大了技能工资差距；经济增长较快时，会增加教育发展带来的技能工资差距；教育水平提高对农村地区与东部地区的技能工资差距影响更大；机制检验发现，教育水平提高通过提升资本—技能互补性与增加劳动技能异化进而扩大了技能工资差距。研究成果对于认识教育发展带来的技能工资差距问题提供了经验证据，为合理控制技能工资差距，助力共同富裕提供了有益参考和政策启示。
Abstract:
The issue of technological progress and wages is a key concern in Marxist political economy.Narrowing the wage gap through technological progress is also an inherent requirement for achieving common prosperity.While promoting technological progress,educational development also affects the income of workers with different skill levels.This paper theoretically integrates the concept of education level with the framework of skill-biased technological progress to analyze the impact of education level on skill wage gap under skill-biased technological progress and the role of economic growth.Further,using CFPS data from 2010 to 2022,this paper empirically examines the impact of education level on skill wage gap.The research finds that the improvement of education level has a greater effect on the wage income growth of high-skilled labor,significantly widening the skill wage gap.When economic growth is rapid,it will further widen the skill wage gap brought about by educational development.The improvement of education level has a greater impact on the skill wage gap in rural areas and eastern regions.Mechanism tests reveal that the improvement of education level widens the skill wage gap by enhancing the complementarity between capital and skills and “intensifying the alienation of labor skills”.The research results of this paper provide empirical evidence for understanding the skill wage gap caused by educational development and offer useful references and policy implications for reasonably controlling the skill wage gap and promoting common prosperity.
