外语教师情绪是近年来应用语言学领域的研究热点之一,已引起国内外学者广泛关注。通过检索Web of Science SSCI数据库、知网CSSCI数据库及论文集(截至2021年12月31日),共获得国内外外语教师情绪研究文献148篇。在回顾外语教师情绪研究的发展阶段后,从外语教师情绪性质、前因和影响三个方面重点分析研究主题的发展现状,并对存在问题进行简要述评。依据生态系统理论,指出当前研究主要在微观和宏观系统探讨前因和影响;未来可在中观和外层系统中拓宽研究广度,并就情绪与认知的关系、教师身份、情绪劳动和外语教学有效性等议题加深研究深度。
Abstract:
EFL teacher emotion is one of the hot research topics in Applied Linguistics in recent years, which has attracted extensive attention of scholars at home and abroad. By searching in Web of Science SSCI database, CNKI CSSCI database and edited volumes (until December 31st, 2021), this paper has retrieved 148 articles on EFL teacher emotions. After reviewing on the development stages, the paper analyzes the status quo of the current research in terms of the nature, antecedent and effects of EFL teacher emotions, followed by a brief comment on the existing problems. According to the Ecological Systems Theory, this paper points out that current research mainly explores antecedents and effects in micro- and macro-systems, and that future research can be broadened in meso- and exo-systems and should be deepened by probing into related topics such as the relationship between emotion and cognition, teacher identity, emotion labor, and the effectiveness of foreign language teaching.
