摘要:
廖平经学有其独特的政治视野。从这一政治视野出发,廖平对中国古典政教体系有着敏锐的洞察和深刻的反思。他批评宋儒尊孟贬荀不得其真,误解《大学》“修身”之旨,昧于时势错认“道统”,先知后行,颠倒人天。这些批评既是针对宋明儒学内在的义理结构,又涉及到宋明儒学的历史文化功能,对于思考当代儒学的发展如何超越宋明儒学具有重要的参考价值。
Abstract:
Liao Ping’s research on Chinese classical political system has a keen insight and profound reflection. He criticized the Song Dynasty philosophers, because they admired Mencius but belittled Xun Zi. He thought that these philosophers misunderstood the meaning of “cultivate one’s morality”. These criticisms are against the NeoConfucianism theory structure, and involve the historical and cultural features of NeoConfucianism. Therefore, his criticisms are of great significance for the development of contemporary Confucianism.
