摘要:: 以欧阳中石主编的《中国书法艺术》[1]一书和汪有芬英译本The Culture and Civilization of China[2]为例，从美学视角探析中国书法审美表达中常用四字格的翻译方法。从内容与形式对等的审美视角，结合节译、增补以及词性改变等翻译技巧分析译者如何在字、词、句层面上实现选词造句中的审美心理和审美再现过程。

Abstract:: Focused on the book of The Culture and Civilization of China by Ouyang Zhongshi (the English version of Zhongguo Shufa Yishu by Wang Youfen), the paper explores the translation methods of four-character phrases that are commonly used in aesthetic expressions of Chinese calligraphy; that is, from the perspective of aesthetic equivalence between content and form supplemented with such translation skills as amplification, omission and the changes of word categories to analyze the process of the translator’s aesthetic psychology and aesthetic reproduction on the level of the words, phrases and sentences.
