摘要:
林语堂身处中国文化变革的交替时期，20世纪30年代起从“译入”转向“译出”标志其文化身份的转向。通过“译入”,引进和吸纳各种各样的西方文化,实现对现代性文化认同建构；通过“译出”,评介和传播中国智慧,寻求民族文化认同的同时并建构自我的文化身份。林语堂以翻译《浮生六记》这部中国传统文学作品为开端，进行文化身份建构以实现双向认同。因此，研究《浮生六记》翻译的跨文化动因，有助于我们探究译者诉诸的文学相关功能及推崇的文学理想形式，了解译者主体与历史文化、社会现实之互动。
Abstract:
Lin Yutang was in the transitional period of China’s cultural change.Since the 1930s,his transformation from “in” to “out” marked his cultural identity.Through “translation in”,various Western cultures are introduced and absorbed to realize the construction of cultural identity with modernity;through “translation out”,he introduces and disseminates the Chinese wisdom,seeks national cultural identity while constructing his own cultural identity.Lin Yutang started translating Six Chapters of a Floating Life,a traditional Chinese literary work,and constructed a cultural identity to show two-way identity.Therefore,a study of the cross-cultural motivations of the translation of Six Chapters of a Floating Life helps us to explore the literary functions and ideal forms of literature that the translator resorts to,and to interpret the interaction between the translator’s subjectivity and historical culture and social reality.
