摘要:
从交通大学历史出发，将老校长唐文治的体育思想和实践作为选题，运用文献资料和逻辑分析等研究方法，对唐文治体育思想的历史渊源，以及在长期高等教育过程中的体育思想和实践进行探究、整理和论释。唐文治在长期的教育实践中基本形成"坚守传统，学习西方"的体育教育思想，强调体育在育人方面的综合作用；既重视以技击为代表的中国传统体育，也大力引进和推行西方体育；倡导军国民体育，注重体育的社会功用，是其体育思想的时代特征。期望能够通过此研究，丰富我国的大学体育史和体育文化研究，并对当前我国大学体育的发展和改革提供借鉴和启示。
Abstract:
This study focuses on Jiao Tong University sports history, taking the former headmaster Tang Wenzhi’s sports thought and practice as the research subject, using the methods of literature and logical analysis， researching and interpreting the historical origin of Tang Wenzhi’s sports thought and the sports thought and practice in the process of higher education for a long time. Tang Wenzhi formed the sports thought "sticking to Chinese tradition, learning from the west". He emphasized on the comprehensive function of sports in educating students, attaching importance to the Chinese traditional sports represented by martial arts, introducing the western sports vigorously, advocating Military and National Sports. Paying attention to social function of sports is the age features of his sports thought. I hope this research could enrich our university sports and sports culture research, providing reference and enlightenment for development and reform of university sports.
