摘要:
提出了一种利用经验模态分解(empirical mode decomposition,EMD)技术估计正交频分复用系统(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing,OFDM)频偏的新方法。传统的OFDM系统频偏估计算法通常需要获得多路混合信号,而新方法仅需要利用相关检测处理单路的OFDM信号,再通过EMD模态分解算法分离出各路子载波信息,即可估计出OFDM系统频偏。与传统的OFDM系统频偏估计方法相比,新方法不依赖源信号的统计特性和信道状态信息,不需要额外带宽,降低了系统的实现复杂度。仿真结果表明,该方法具有较高的频偏估计精度。
Abstract:
The paper proposes an original approach to estimate carrier frequency offset(CFO) of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) system by employing empirical mode decomposition(EMD).Traditional frequency offset estimation algorithms of OFDM system often require multiple mixed signals to realize signal separation.Whereas this method processes single channel OFDM data only exploiting the correlation detection technology,then the EMD algorithm is capable of separating different carrier offset information and estimating the CFO of OFDM signals.Comparing with the classical frequency offset estimation methods,this EMD algorithm does not rely on the statistical features of the source signal and channel state information,the new method doesn't expend additional bandwidth and greatly reduces the implementation complexity of the system,and the simulation results show that the proposed method has a higher accuracy of frequency estimation.
