摘要:: 刘笔农专力写作新华文坛①旧人旧事，在华文文学界可谓奇特现象。刘笔农文坛忆旧散文回忆新华作家的创作道路和心灵轨迹，展示了新华文坛历史风貌和传统知识分子的人格精神，增添了历史的厚重感和人性之美。其运笔用墨自成一体，颇有特色且承继史家传统，保持客观立场，具有很高的史料价值。

Abstract:: Liu Binong’s writing focuses on those old people and those past events in Singapore Chinese literary world, which can be regarded as a peculiar phenomenon in Chinese literary circle. Liu’s prose collection, which recalls Singapore Chinese writers’ creation path and spiritual path and shows the styles and feature of Singapore traditional Chinese literature and the personalities and spirits of traditional Chinese intellectuals, adds an intense sense of history and the beauty of human nature. His writing has its own style and inherits the tradition of historians while taking an objective stance. All this gives his prose a very high historical data value.
