摘要:: 《颜氏家训》是我国蒙学的重要经典，被称为“家训之祖”。这部典籍之所以能够流传千年和其说服力有着不可分割的关系。“修辞人格”这个概念是由亚里斯多德提出，并将其列为说服力的重要来源。“修辞人格”概念及其凸显手段理论得到了包括亚里斯多德、西塞罗、坎贝尔、海德格尔等重量级西方修辞学家的阐述和发展。作为诠释说服力的重要概念，修辞人格的相关理论为我们解读《颜氏家训》提供了一个可行的理论框架。经对经典的发掘与借鉴其他学者的研究可以发现，实用智慧、美德、善意、声誉、文风、身份角色以及“精神家园”的建构这些修辞人格的主要构件在增强《颜氏家训》修辞力及使其成为一部经久不衰的经典上都起着不可忽视的作用。

Abstract:: Family Admonitions for the Yan Clan，with its reputation as the origin of family instruction in China, is listed as one of the classical works of rudimentary education. Its everlasting influence has inextricable relation with its powerful persuasion. Ethos, a key concept in rhetorical theory, is first proposed and listed as the most important means of persuasion by Aristotle. The concept itself and its projecting strategies are further developed by such important rhetorians as Cicero, Campbell, and Heidegger. Ethos, the key concept in interpreting persuasion, provides a feasible theory framework for interpreting this classical works An exploration into classical works and research into relevant study of peers reveals that the main components of ethos—practical wisdom, virtue, good will, reputation, style, occupation and dwelling places, play a vital role in making Family Admonitions for the Yan Clan an enduring classical work.
