摘要:: 做慈善不待富而后行、重视募捐活动并率先垂范、倾资办学、设立慈善基金会等是陈嘉庚慈善思想的主要内容，其思想的形成受到家庭、中国传统文化和西方文化等多方面的影响。追求慈善事业的高效率（益）是慈善资本主义的核心思想，其做慈善的方式类似于资本家的投资行为，不同的是慈善资本家投资的是从事慈善事业的社会组织，追求的是慈善事业的高效率（益）。陈嘉庚慈善思想和慈善资本主义在某些方面有一定的共同之处，但从总体上来看，两者的区别是比较明显的。

Abstract:: Doing charity work not after being rich, attaching great importance to fundraising drive and setting an example, pouring endowment to run schools, setting up charitable founds and so on, all these are the main parts of Tan Kah Kee’s charity thought，which is influenced by family，Chinese traditional culture and western culture etc. The pursuit of high efficiency of philanthropy is the core thought of the philanthrocapitalism, whose ways of charity are similar to the investment behavior of the Capitalist，with the difference that the philanthropycapitalists invest in the social organizations engaged in charity and are after the efficiency of charity. There is some common ground between Tan Kah Kee’s charity thought with philanthrocapitalism, but on the whole，the difference between the two is obvious.
