摘要:: 英国作家石黑一雄的小说《上海孤儿》通过主人公不可靠的回忆叙述，亦真亦幻地展示了个人长大后理想破灭的幻灭感。从第一人称不可靠叙事的修辞方法和认知方法，以及与事实不符的叙述情节来看，主人公作为叙述者和叙述人物时而分离、时而重合的叙事进程揭示了他不确定的身份特征，还使得读者产生模糊和不信任的心理效果，描绘了人生如孤儿般生存的失落感，不可靠叙述既从形式上参与了其虚幻的使命破灭的过程，也从本体上建构了人生幻灭的主题。所以该小说超越了一般意义上成长小说的主题，揭示了作者对人类生存状态的忧思。

Abstract:: British novelist Kazuo Ishiguro，through the protagonist’s unreliable memory in-between reality and illusion，displays the protagonist’s disillusionment after the collapse of his dream in his maturity.From the perspectives of rhetoric and cognitive of the first person’s unreliable narration，and the plots of narration which do not comply with our common sense，the protagonist’s uncertain identity and the metaphoric allusion of humans suffering from sense of loss are revealed.Unreliable narration not only witnesses the process of the disillusionment of his illusory mission，but also constructs the theme of the fiction.So the fiction transcends the ordinary Bildungsroman novels for exposing the author’s reflection on the living condition of human beings.
