Abstract:
The textual research on the relevant historical materials of Lin Geng during his stay in Xiamen (from June 1946 to July 1947) is basically blank in the previous study of Lin Geng. During that period, Lin Geng not only insisted on literary creation and academic research, but also made a collective appearance of his new poetry education achievements in local newspapers. After that, he participated in the initiation and establishment of the monthly Lighthouse. In addition, the excavation of three new poems in Xiamen local newspapers, the recompilation of the article “On Writing the History of Chinese Literature” and the discovery of “Talking about Poetry Manuscript” published in Xiamen, provide important first-hand materials for the study of Lin Geng’s literary creation and academic thought, and also have certain historical value for the study of Xiamen local literary and academic history.
