摘要:
抗战时期为了充分发挥艺术救国的作用，中国国内的抗战文艺团体纷纷前往华侨聚集的南洋地区进行抗战筹赈活动，其中最有影响的莫过于武汉合唱团。被誉为“华侨旗帜、民族光辉”的华侨领袖陈嘉庚，不仅亲自协调安排武汉合唱团在南洋各地的巡演，还多次主持参与该团的筹赈演出活动，为该团团长夏之秋编撰的《民族呼声歌集》作长序。武汉合唱团能在南洋各地进行抗战筹赈巡演并大获成功，实有赖于陈嘉庚的大力支持。以《南洋商报》为史料基础，其他国内外报刊史料为辅，通过史料发掘、整理和分析对陈嘉庚大力支持武汉合唱团的抗战筹赈活动进行全面梳理，以期丰富当前学界关于陈嘉庚对中国抗战贡献的研究。
Abstract:
During the War of Resistanceagainst Japanese Aggression,numerous Chinese wartime art troupes traveled to Nanyang (Southeast Asia),a region with a large overseas Chinese population,to raise funds for the war effort.Among these,the Wuhan Chorus was the most influential.Tan Kah-Kee,a prominent overseas Chinese leader hailed as the “Banner of Overseas Chinese” and the “Glory of the Nation”,not only personally coordinated and arranged the Wuhan Chorus’s tour across Nanyang but also participated in some of their performances.The success of the Wuhan Chorus’s fundraising tour in Nanyang was largely due to Tan Kah-Kee’s unwavering support and contributions.Based on historical materials from the Nanyang Siang Pau,also supplemented by historical materials from other domestic and international publications,this paper utilizes historical excavation,collation,and analysis to provide a comprehensive overview of Tan Kah-Kee’s significant support for the Wuhan Chorus’s fundraising activities,aiming to enrich current academic research on Tan Kah-Kee’s contributions to China’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
