摘要:
近年来人工智能技术在自然语言处理方面的强势应用,使大众可以轻易地使用自然语言的“语义”与人工智能模型打交道,在生成式AI模型的应用中,对大众的艺术创作范式进行重塑。“创作意图”的输入和“符号表意形式”的输出成为艺术创作中彼此独立又紧密协作的2个部分。本研究在符号语义学视域下设计实验案例,通过对AIGC艺术创作过程做“切片式”案例的实践考察,再结合大模型相关理论对AI创作生成机制进行验证和分析;提出在AIGC语-图(视频)的生成机制中存在“意图语义”层、“符号规定”层和“质料”层的三重表意结构。这三重结构在生成式AI介入后创作媒介的“数据化”“符号化”的变化中发生改变,从而影响到创作实践的表达。对该结构的重新认识,为AIGC创作提供了符号语义学的思考进路,使AI技术以“表意”的功能介入到艺术创作;这同时更凸显了人之“意图”在未来的AI艺术创作中的至关重要性,从而思考新技术下创作者自身的改变。
Abstract:
In recent years,the robust application of artificial intelligence technology in natural language processing has enabled the public to easily interact with artificial intelligence models using the “semantics” of natural language,reshaping the paradigm of public artistic creation in the application of generative AI models.The input of “creative intent” and the output of “symbolic signification forms” have become two parts that are both independent and closely collaborative in artistic creation.This paper designs experimental cases from the perspective of semiotics and semantics,conducting a “sliced” practical examination of the AIGC artistic creation process,and verifies and analyzes the AI creation generation mechanism in conjunction with large model-related theories.It proposes that in the AIGC language-image (video) generation mechanism,there exists a triple signification structure consisting of the “intent semantics” layer,the “symbolic regulation” layer,and the “material” layer.These three layers undergo changes in the “datafication” and “symbolization” of creative media following the intervention of generative AI,thereby affecting the expression of creative practice.Re-understanding this structure provides a semiotics and semantics approach to AIGC creation,allowing AI technology to intervene in artistic creation with the function of “signification”;this also highlights the crucial importance of human “intent” in future AI artistic creation,prompting a consideration of the changes in the creator themselves under new technologies.
