摘要:
现代化建设是近代以来中国发展的重大时代命题。在中国现代化建设的历程中，以陈嘉庚为代表的华侨华人始终与祖国现代化建设进程同频共振。陈嘉庚以自身所处时代为坐标，以实业发展为基础，以现代人才为依托，以交通畅通为必要，以文明新风为导向，以侨胞共识为助力，对中国现代化建设进行了有益的探索与实践。
Abstract:
Modernization has been a major proposition of the times for China’s development since the beginning of modern times.During this process,overseas Chinese,typified by Tan Kah-kee,have always resonated with the process of China’s modernization.Tan Kah-kee took the era in which he lived as the coordinates,industrial development as the basis,modern talents as the support,the smooth flow of traffic as a necessity,a new style of civilization as a guide,and the consensus of the overseas Chinese as a boost,making a useful exploration and practice of China’s modernization.
