摘要:
在妈祖的传说中，妈祖是观音菩萨所托生，因此妈祖和观音菩萨有很多相似之处。但是妈祖与观音菩萨之间并不存在与生俱来的联系。妈祖信仰最初形态只是当地的海神信仰，与观音信仰并无直接干涉。在白莲教的影响下，弥勒下生的故事刺激了观音托生妈祖故事的形成。妈祖最终和观音菩萨产生了联系，成为观音菩萨的托生和化身，呈现出观音化的特点。妈祖从形象到功能不断向观音菩萨靠近，同时妈祖湄洲岛圣境也实现了观音普陀圣境的迁移和重建，并成为妈祖信仰圣境之祖。
Abstract:
In the legend, Mazu is born of Guanyin Bodhisattva, so Mazu and Guanyin have many similarities. However, there is no inherent connection between Mazu and Guanyin. The original form of Mazu belief is only the belief of the local sea gods, there is no direct relationship with Guanyin beliefs. Under the influence of the Bailian religion, the story of Maitreya’s birth stimulates the formation of the story of Mazu. Mazu finally got in touch with Guanyin, become the embodiment of Guanyin, showing the characteristics of Guanyin. Mazu is constantly approaching Guanyin from the image to the function. At the same time, the Mazu Meizhou Island Celestine also realized the migration and reconstruction of the Guanyin Putuo Celestine, and became the ancestor of the Mazu belief in the Holy Land.
