大学本质上是一个师生学术共同体,基于学术共同体视角可为学生参与大学治理提供一个独特的研究视野。然而在行政主导下,学生作为“学术共同体”成员的地位和作用尚未彰显,在大学治理格局中呈现出参与广度不足、参与深度有限以及参与效度不彰三重困境。这种参与困境的深层诱因,源于行政主导与“师道尊严”观念的影响、保障学生参与学术事务的规章制度尚不健全、学生参与的组织渠道不够畅通、学生治理意识的薄弱与治理能力的局限等诸多因素。因此,为实现学生参与大学治理向学术本真回归,亟需转变传统治理理念,树立学生“学术共同体”成员地位;完善大学治理制度,保障学生有效参与;构建治理机构体系,拓宽学生参与渠道;把控治理方式尺度,培养学生参与素质。
Abstract:
A university is essentially an academic community of teachers and students.Based on the perspective of academic community,it can provide a unique research perspective for students to participate in university governance.However,under the shackles of administration,the status and role of students as members of the“academic community”have not yet been manifested,and in the university governance structure,there is a triple dilemma of insufficient participation breadth,limited participation depth,and insufficient participation validity.The deep -seated causes of this participation dilemma stem from the obscurity of the“official-based”cultural values and the concept of“dignity of teachers”,the incomplete rules and regulations to ensure students’ participation in academic affairs,the lack of smooth organizational channels for student participation,the lack of awareness of student governance and weaknesses and limitations of governance capacity,among other factors.Therefore,in order to realize the return of students’ participation in university governance to the academic reality,it is urgent to change the traditional governance concept and establish the status of students as members of the“academic community”;improve the university governance system to ensure the effective participation of students;build a governance institution system and broaden the channels for students to participate;control the scale of governance methods and cultivate students’ participation quality.
