Abstract:
The Olympic Games develops a trend of youth and internationalization. Skateboarding, rock climbing and surfing continue to be Olympic events. Breaking became an Olympic event for the first time. Skateboarding, surfing and rock climbing are expected to become permanent Olympic events. This paper apply ways of literature, expert interviews and data statistics，by analyzing the medal list of the 2020 Olympic games, citing the new events in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, predicting the development trend of the future Olympic games, and get the conclusions: Draw on the practices of countries with superior performance in Olympic sports to improve their experience in international competitions; improve the psychological quality of Olympic athletes in new major sports and enhance their self-confidence; establish a diversified selection system for Olympic talents; and improve the competitive system with Chinese characteristics, focus on competing for glory in the Olympics.
