摘要:: 闽南方言“（NP1）+无/有NP2 +通+VP”结构由“（NP1）+无NP 2+通1+VP”结构和“（NP1）+有NP2 +通2+VP”结构组成。“通1”“通2”出现的语境相似，却有肯定和否定之别。肯定与否定的不对称致使两者的语义演变路径截然相反。“通1”所表达的中性情态和主语指向情态都是先于知识情态发展起来的，其语义演变路径有三条。而“通2”所表达的中性情态和主语指向情态的发展则可以后于知识情态，其语义演变路径有两条。情态义演变目前西方语言学界比较一致的看法是：主语指向情态>中性情态；非知识情态>知识情态。闽南方言“通1”的其中一条演变路径和“通2”的语义演变路径则背道而驰。

Abstract:: The“（NP1）+u22有/bo24无NP2+thang33通+VP” Structure is composed of “(NP1) + bo24无NP 2+ thang33通1 + VP” structure and “(NP1) +u22有NP 2+ thang33通2 + VP” structure. The contexts of “thang33通1” and “thang33通2” are quite similar, but they have the difference between positive and negative categories. The asymmetry between affirmation and negation leads to the opposite of the semantic evolution path of the two. The neutral dynamic modality and subject oriented modality of “thang33通1” are developed before the epistemic modality. There are three paths of semantic evolution in“thang33通1”. The development of the neutral dynamic modality and subject oriented modality of “thang33通1” can be followed by the epistemic modality. There are two paths of semantic evolution of “thang33通2”. With regard to the evolution of modality, the current consensuses in Western linguistics are shown below：subject oriented modality > neutral dynamic modality；non-epistemic modality > epistemic modality. The first evolutionary path of “thang33通1” and the path of semantic evolution of “thang33通2” are contrary to the consensuses. This is caused by different ways of thinking between the East and the West.
